Install

1. Quit Meera, open the disk image and drag Meera to Applications. Replace the older copy if asked.
2. Open Meera. Updating preserves your existing library and account connections; do not reset the library.
3. On a first installation, follow setup to connect your own sources and consent to cloud processing. Local speech downloads automatically in the background. Talk shows progress and retry; text chat and setup remain usable.

What is in it

No founder profile, personal database, messages or account tokens are included. Meera uses cloud AI after you agree during setup; audio stays on your Mac. There is no bundled local reasoning model. Connect Google and WhatsApp from Connections. Microsoft sign-in is awaiting Meera's app registration and is not ready in this copy. The iPhone app itself is due an update.

• One navigation bar for Threads, Calendar, Talk, About you and Connections.
• Cold-cache voice fix: playback uses the downloaded local voice presets without a Hugging Face cache. Actual offline playback and transcription verified.
• Small installer: local speech recognition and Kokoro playback download once after first launch and stay installed across app updates. Waiting speech uses the same selected voice; unavailable speech leaves a visible text reply.
• Discuss a selected thread with its context, retain conversation drafts between sections, and save ordinary explanatory replies correctly.
• Give feedback on Meera's calendar suggestions for one occurrence or as a standing preference.
• Clearer account and permission states, including Microsoft's registration status. Microsoft still requires Meera's app registration before sign-in is ready.
• Failed readings stay queued for retry. Recent source material gets priority while older pending items continue to progress. Shared processing status stays outside module tabs.
• Database failure cleanup reduces stalls. Grounded opportunities can reach concrete comparison before the final judgement, and accepted work must have a visible, source-backed matter. Existing action permissions remain in force.

Still a progress preview: consistent useful automatic threads have not yet been verified. The intermittent cloud responses that return nonsensical punctuation remain under investigation; this update does not fix that generation failure.

New installations consider the last three days for new work; Insights shows the available seven-day communication history. WhatsApp history depends on what your phone supplies. An app update alone does not require reconnecting accounts.
